Highly accredited, flight nurse, Sasha White, received her first Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her second Bachelor’s Degree (a competitive, accelerated nursing program) from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She then took the National Registry to become an EMT. She has worked in Intensive Care Unit’s (ICUs) and Emergency Room’s (ERs) across the country from: Albuquerque, NM, Denver, Co to New Orleans, LA and Norfolk, VA and continues to work at high volume bases. Along the way to becoming a flight nurse, she collected even more certifications and accolades like BSN, RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ABLS, TPACT and CFRN, etc., before she finally landed into the world of Flight Nursing. Here, she shares what it takes to survive long hours, daring rescues, and staying connected with regular life.
